Aluu’taa will be developing a Salmon Story Map with Canadian Geographic.

This project aims to create a dynamic linguistic framework, a comprehensive system for language study and development, to ensure Indigenous languages remain relevant and adaptable to contemporary scientific and technological advances.

For Our Futures was built through deep collaboration and is an example of the importance of multidisciplinary and multidimensional research. Though this is a first step and introduction to indigenous perspectives on resilience, there is an opportunity to build greater frameworks for deep collaborative indigenous-led research that can shape a new path forward for all.
